Biography

Chief Sékou Alájé is a musician, a spiritual healer, cultural pioneer and coronated Chief.  His life has been dedicated to the preservation and presentation of African Cultural from the African Diaspora.  An initiated African Drummer and Singer as well as an initiated African Priest, Chief Alaje has traveled to every continent in the world spreading African culture and teaching about the great legacy of Africa.  

Chief Alájé currently is based in Brooklyn, New York where he performs with his ensemble The RingShout is a talented group of musicians, singers, mc's, african drummers, african dancers, and visual artist. Performing music that is healing for the mind, body, and soul.
